My Curry Chicken
Today I want to share one of my developmental product with you here. As a Malaysian, curry is a very normal and popular food, but honestly I never cook curry before. I were asked to test out the curry chicken by the MD. Here was my 1st curry chicken.
Well, 1st time mah, It really did not look like a curry dish, too much dried chili I added in. It was so spicy until it gave the bitter taste. And it was super oily as I thought more oil so that the colour would be more attractive. So I modified the recipe and here is my 2nd curry chicken:
Daa..lang! Hehe...not bad right? I am quite satisfy with this recipe, woh~ Can't wait to let my MD try it.

Homecook Dishes - Assorted
When I just married last year, I tried my best to cook for my hubby. However my husband always complain the food that I cooked is tasteless. So soon and soon, I seldom cook nowadays. Well, I tried to cook for him once a week, I reach home at 6:30 - 7:00pm, 3 dishes ready at 8:15pm is considered reasonable right? For taste wise, I am a food technologist, I try my best not to add in MSG, or too many sugar/salt/seasoning into the dishes, this also reasonable right? Since he doesn't enjoy, so I only cook occasionally lo :P
Actually I quite enjoy my dishes, starts from top one clock wise: stir fried baby pak choi, sweet & sour potato and sliced pork with tomato. But problem is, customer must like you food then only they will come again! v_v ..
I cooked this during one of our memorable day, but i forgot what was that already..
Pineapple fried rice and deep fried chicken slices. My hubby say my dish only have the look but not the taste v_v ...
When hubby not at home, I hentam anything in the fridge and fried together, I found it not bad ma, see..the egg was so pretty..
Another fried-anything-noodle session when hubby not at home.
Actually hubby got a little bit talent from his mom. The food he cook is quite nice because he is quite creative. But one thing I don't like is too much seasoning, especially sugar. I didn't manage to take many picture of his nice food. here was the only one, maggie mee goreng with roti paratha, plus don't know what soup.
This is his failure one, hehehe...He tried to finish the ingredients which he used to make the 2nd giant burger, so end up the noodles become like that.
Can eat la, ok la, people always think they are the best ma let him lo...wakaka..
Next time I will shoot more photo to let you judge by yourself :D

Gila People...
There are getting more and more crazy people in the world. I bumped into one recently. It really wasted our precious time and energy when we met this type of people..
On 22th March, the day before I left for Macau trip, I was rushing back from office. I was a bit headache that day and I hope I could go back earlier to catch some rest before I depart to KLIA in the mid night.
But my luck was not so good that day. I was followed by a Malay motorcyclist when I was reaching my house. I noticed something weird so I did not turn into my house and I kept on driving, and I was thinking he would stop follow after that. But he was not. So I called my husband.
My husband asked me to park the car at somewhere and stayed inside the car, to wait for his sister to come accompany me. That guy also parked behind my car and waiting. Then together with my sister in law, we went to meet my hubby at one of the mamak stall. The funniest thing was that guy follow us as well. we sat at one table, ordered drinks, and he just sat at the table beside and waiting for us.
After 20min, we left, he followed. Then our cars was blocked by a car, which the driver was still inside the car, then the main thing I want to tell you comes..He went to tell the driver:" Bang, kau blocking dia punya kereta tak boleh keluar." That time, we didn't know to laugh or what..
He stopped followed us until we tried to bring him from telok pulai to north port. Somemore he knocked my car window very hard and wanted me to look at him. But my hubby asked me to ignore and pretend don't know.
I supposed to reach home at 6:30pm, end up 3 person reached back at 8:15am. Gosh! It was so torturing! I was told that the guy stays nearby our house and he got mentally problem. He followed me because I looked at him when I was waiting for him to passed by so that I could make the turning, his motor speed was so so slow, so my mouth was murmuring while I looking at him...Sigh...So moral of this story, do not scold people while you are driving O_O

Bukit Tinggi Tesco, Sushi King - Lou Sang
During the last day of Chinese New Year 2011, Chap Goh Meh, My husband and I plan to have Lou Sang (It usually consists of strips of raw fish (most commonly salmon), mixed with shredded vegetables and a variety of sauces and condiments, among other ingredients. For more info please check: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Yusheng) at the sushi king, so happened we read about their 1st time lou sang menu on the newspapers few days ago.
I still remember that I was suffering in a terrible jam on the way back from office to Tesco. The journey that usually takes about 20minutes become 2 hours on that day. O_O
I was starving when I arrived there. Pity my husband also need to wait for me, hehe.
Our main purpose was for this that night, it was only RM9.90+. I will not try this if it still in their menu next year. They used the tempura batter crumb as cracker, therefore it was super oily. And now I understand why it was cheap because they were selling flour.
I ordered grilled salmon rice, comes together with a pickles and miso soup. The salmon looks pity, as it was think and dry and fishy.
The my husband ordered Udon soup set meal. The crab meat was hard, noodles was little, then the sushi rice was hard as well.
Our dessert, do you notice something weird at the bottom of the glass? Yes it is empty. We were being informed that they had ran out of the red bean, we said it was ok, we can have just green tea ice cream. But we never expected that they can served the dessert like that. One word to them :" Keng!"
Anyway, I will not go back to there for sure.

Penang Assam Laksa
Last week newspaper reported that Penang Assam Laksa was rated as No.7 in One of the Food Must Try in The World by CNN. Woh...Suddenly I feel so proud of it, because I love Penang Assam Laksa very much!!
I must visited to this stall every time I visited to Penang since the time my husband brought me to that place few years ago.
Hmm..yum yum..
Another specialty of that place is people will order fried spring rolls and dip together with assam laksa gravy and eat. The combination of these two food will make you feel like in heaven, haa!
After fried food, you can order the "Ba Bao" herbal drink, either with or without milk, to give you some refreshment.
Sometimes simple food can just give you the biggest satisfaction!

Kinsahi, Jaya 33, PJ
My blog was being neglected since last year, because I was too busy for my new products development and launching. Since recently I had done my part so I have more time to take care back of my blog now. I will post some food pictures which I have taken since last year. I will try my best to recall the info for the food pictures that I am going to post here.
One of the food I had tested few month ago was Kinsahi restaurant. The outlet we tried out was in PJ, in fact they have few outlets at somewhere else, which I had forgotten where it is. This is a fusion Japanese restaurant and it was popular for their pork burger.
They were doing promotion during the time I visited: you will get a free pork burger if you spend RM50 in a single receipt. Well, this was why we were there, haha. Looked at the food we ordered for just two person o_o !!
Ready to eat...
Can't remember the name already, this is one of their signature Ramen, not bad, slightly too salty.
Gyoza, hmm..too salty also..
Ah, I am sorry I forgot the name as well also..it was minced pork skewer with terriyaki sauce, I remember it was slightly too salty also..
Daa..lang!!! The star of the day! Juicy and Fresh!
My tummy are getting bigger and bigger...
Dessert? Vanilla ice cream in pumpkin gravy, Hmm..looks different, but taste normal only.
I will still go back for it as their price is considered acceptable among the Japanese restaurants. It was crowded during the lunch time when we were there, just make sure you arrive earlier if you do not want to wait for it.

Mommy Birthday-Surprise Homecook Dinner
There are 4 family members of mine birthday in July. Well...it's quite tiring if we need to celebrate it separately, hehe...So we normally will focus on the most important person for celebration, of course, it will be my mom lo.
Sis suggested to prepare a surprise dinner for her. We were too busy to prepare the dinner on that day and we had no extra time to take the picture. When we thought of that, it's already too late. So you can only see what we cooked, not how we cooked.
Japanese seafood pancake, my sis recipe, her 1st time doing this. I have to say, this was nice.
Lim's Style Dry Longlife Noodles, my sis recipe also. Of course, this also nice.
Stuffed tofu mushroom with salted egg sauce and Char siu + roasted duck cabbage rolls. Woh, my sis recipe as well. Mushrooms one was a little be too plain, but the cabbage rolls was good.
What did I cooked? Hmm..my bro say my dish was too ugly, so no individual picture for it v_v ... Yes, Curry pai kut (pork) at the right corner of the above picture. Another one was at the top middle of the picture, Yam sutff with roasted duck skin. Eh..ugly to see, but nice to see le... :D
In fact, it was a dessert, chocolate moist cake. But it look ugly and did not taste so good, so no picture for it at all.
In brief, there was a happy gathering night, not only for my be loved mother, also for us.
Happy Birthday to my Mom, sis, younger and my husband!

Valentine Homemade Burger
My husband is a burger lover, he always cannot get the satisfaction from eating burger outside, therefore he planned to made his own giant burger during Valentine day 2011. This was his 2nd homemade giant burger. Well, since he always say I lazy, so I left all mission to him, he bought the ingredients by his own, and cooked at kitchen by his own. I almost fainted when I came back from work that day, I saw this on the table.
It was quite difficult to let you feel when you see the photo, so I put the drinks beside to let you imagine how big was that burger.
Still hard to feel it? Nevermind, I will show you later.
Do you know how many ingredients inside this giant burger? Minced pork to make meat patty, some leftover tuna flakes, luncheon meat, pan fried egg, tomato, cucumber, onion, lettuce, chicken ham, cheese, tomato&chili sauce and a giant bun. (it was a bun consists of 5 little potato sweet buns, because he could not find the giant burger bun!!)
Are you ready for that? Let's do it!!
It was too big until I could not hold it properly! My mouth definitely not big enough for that!!
My husband was too greedy! no matter how hard we ate and bite, it still have so much!
Slowly clearing it...brueekkk...
Finally!!!
In fact, it was nice, homemade food always nice due to the rich and fresh ingredients. But it was really too big portion, I think 3 or 4 person eat is still ok. We ban burger since that day, until we clearing off the "jelak" taste. But I think my husband will not prepare another one so soon as his 1st giant burger was at about 2-3 years ago :P
