Home cook dishes

Recently my hubby was attacked by Helicobacter Pylori, therefore we try not to eat outside food so often. Our dinner during weekdays normally "settled" at my mother in law house (it is only opposite my house, hehe), I tried to cook once a week last time, I mean during weekday, however I stopped due to some reasons (hubby:" Excuses!"):

Reason 1: it was about 8++pm by the time I finish cooking. I have to reach home on time after work, rushing everything, it is tiring.. (hubby:" You cook too slow..")

Reason 2: My hubby is a very choosy person. He is a carnivore. I prefer to cook vege, if there were 3 dishes, it will be 2 vege out of it. Meat is not good for health. (hubby:" Stingy! because vege is cheaper than meat!")

Reason 3: My hubby had used to his mom cooking style, he always complain that my dishes is tasteless la, bland la, watery la, bla bla bla...Same reason as above, we shall eat healthier food. (hubby:" You shall improve your cooking skills!")

Reason 4: My mom in law house just opposite our house, it is so much easy we walk there and have our dinner, haa! Most important is my mother in law is good in cooking, hahaha! (hubby:" ...Cant think of other word except LAZY!")

Well, I think I had gone too far...since my hubby sick so I start my home cooking again, but it is on weekend now.

My mom got fresh fish for me, so I steamed it. The only vege my hubby eat is broccoli and carrot so I stir-fried it with pork slices. Somehow I worried it was still too plain for him so I pan-fried carrot with eggs for him.

The next day, I still have some left over pork and vege so I prepared dry version soya bean noodles for him. This was mine as he likes broccoli but not the stem O.o

After mixed look. It was a bit dry but it was tasty.

I will try to cook more frequent nowadays (only weekend, weekday still same venue, ahem...) I quite enjoy cooking, another thing is home cook is always healthier, hygienic and cheaper than outside food.
